The Green House Environment Shop is a family owned, small business. 

This is me, Peta - shop owner and doer of many things at once! I first discovered The Green House (as a customer) more than 12 years ago. It was my go-to shop for awesome greeting cards and kids toys.  When my own children had started prep & daycare, I had  a little extra time on my hands. So, on one of my Green House visits I randomly enquired about a casual job .... and now, here I am owning my favourite shop and loving every minute of it. 

My family members all make important contributions to The Green House. My husband Chris is our pseudo maintenance manager and all round handy person. My daughter is a boss on the cash register & social media contributor. My son is a great product tester and fridge monitor! Even my parents are involved with projects during busy times and stocktakes.

Maree has been part of The Green House family for more than 10 years. Her gorgeous presence lights up our little shop.

Maree creates fabulous front window displays and colourful product placement throughout the shop. With a keen eye for recycling & repurposing, Maree is often on the look out for quirky bits & bobs for shop displays.   

The Green House continues to stay true to our green roots by supporting  local conservation groups and social justice causes. We share a portion of our profits each year, and distribute funds from our customer donation tin to local green initiatives. 

We collect funds on behalf of various organisations through the sale of fabulous goodies, such as handmade toys, tote bags, stickers, magnets and postcards. 100% of these sales support groups such as:
